Our next meeting is this Wednesday at the Portola City Hall from 6-8 PM, as we continue circulating around the county in order to engage as many communities as possible. We will be extending our discussion from the April meeting in Quincy on a vision and mission for our group, as well as a name. In addition, we will be having a project showcase from the Forest Service and the Plumas County Fire Safe Council as requested by last month’s participants, displaying current and planned fuels reduction projects around the county. We hope you will come join us and share your input on forest management in Plumas County. To view the agenda, click here.
If you can’t make it that far on a Wednesday night, we will be broadcasting the meeting live online through Adobe Connect. For instructions on how to listen in on the meeting, click here. Internet participants will also be able to provide input through the chat box provided by adobe connect, which we will be monitoring throughout the meeting. Our June meeting will be on the 24th, in either the Greenville or Chester area. I hope to see you at one of our upcoming meetings.
